FOX CHAPEL New Song Review // “Dead Flowers”
FOX CHAPEL share new single Dead Flowers.

Northampton lot Fox Chapel have just released Dead Flowers, the B-side to their forthcoming single Ice Cream, and we definitely like what we hear.
Mastering the balance between distorted and refined noise, Fox Chapel manage to intertwine sparkling guitar-hooks and energetic drum patterns, without going in the guitar band trap of riff-reliance. Wrapping it all up in reverb, the tune is tinted with surrealism.
The vocals, presented slightly aggressively, co-exist surprisingly well with the melody which tilts in a somewhat psychedelic direction. You get the Manchester 70’s vibe with a Midlands twist.
The single is released alongside a video, in the courtesy of THE KILLER SHOP, and is even more spaced out than Tame Impala’s filmography.
Surprised that something this good can come out of Northampton, we’re looking forward to see what the future brings for Fox Chapel.
