ALEXANDER WOLFE Can’t Get To Sleep
In anticipation of his fourth studio record, ALEXANDER WOLFE delivers new track, I Can’t Get To Sleep.
This Londoner surely knows how to reveal his presence for the first time since 2014’s release, From The Shallows.
New track displays traits of a true songwriter and composer. It is playful and energetic musically, despite its heavier lyrical content as Wolfe sings “I can’t get to sleep with that wolf outside my door / I wish he’d let me be.” Tests and mental struggles are discussed in the song, using it as a platform to talk about taboo topics.
Musician’s vocals are sounding smooth and dynamic throughout each verse and chorus pairing gloriously with the violin. The continuous rolling drums keep the fast and precise tempo, accompanied by classic folk guitars which drive the tune through. It ends as quick as it started, with layered vocal section that ties up the song succinctly.
Will this be the fourth critically acclaimed album from Wolfe? It surely looks like he will deliver again. With reviews praising his patience and his new work hailed as greatness.
