PREMIERE // ‘World Keeps Spinning’ Say ENNOR in Their New Track

Folk-rock outfit unveils the second single from their debut EP, Polaroids.

ENNOR kick off 2017 with the new single, World Keeps Spinning, a follow-up to their sunny tune Dreamer, both taken from their debut EP, Polaroids.

Summer arrives early as Cornish folk quartet serves us with another story, and this time we’re going on a ride.

Oli Pestell takes a sit behind the camera once more to create a visual accompaniment to the track. The video for World Keeps Spinning is a vibrant compilation of live footage and behind-the-scenes moments from the band’s coastal tour of the South West. As we follow their adventures we get a glimpse into the world of a young band who first – are embracing every good and bad day they’re given, and second – are confident with the path they’ve chosen in life. The world will keep spinning so let’s just enjoy it while it lasts.

Tom Elliot‘s vocals are tinted with a raw tone in this offering but somehow float on Adam Williams‘ precise drum work effortlessly. Straightforward guitars and on-point bass lines, courtesy of guitarist Jack Rennie and bassist James Creed, capture the upbeat essence of the tune while we wait for the sun to come back. Let’s hope that won’t take too long now and we’ll soon hear more from the band.

ENNOR explain:

‘World Keeps Spinning’ is an incredibly fun song to play and an important tune for us. It’s a song about trying to come to terms with the world that we live in, especially when things take a turn for the worse and you’re not sure how to deal with it. It’s a song about picking yourself up, looking forward, and taking those first steps to recovery.

ENNOR‘s debut EP was produced by Sandro Giacometti (TACDMY, Katy Hurt, Gabe Coulter) and recorded in Metropolis Studios.

Polaroids is available now on Southcote.
