Musician announced details on his new EP, Eden, out this Spring.

Johnny Lloyd returns with a brand new single Running Wild, to be taken from his forthcoming EP Eden, a follow-up to last year’s Dreamland EP.

Running Wild is another fine offering which proves Lloyd’s well-crafted songwriting skills. It doesn’t bring anything new to the table per se, it just serves very typical for the artist song arrangement. Built up around laid-back guitars and fading vocals, with catchy chorus hooks, the track will have you captured and swinging within seconds. It’s good to see an artist who sticks to what he does best and frankly, we can’t wait to hear more.

Eden was produced by The Maccabees’ Hugo White and Mike Crossey (The 1975) and recorded between Los Angeles and The Maccabees’ Elephant and Castle studios.

Speaking about the new release, Johnny says:

It was great working with Hugo White and Mike Crossey again. The Eden EP was recorded over a period of 6 months – Hugo brought so much to it and really put the hours in. ‘Running Wild’ was written in reaction to the live shows – for me the songs about being free and trying to find a place in the world. I’m very happy with how it’s sounding, and looking forward to people hearing it.

Eden is set for release on April 14th via Xtra Mile Recordings, followed by a headline UK tour including a show at London’s Scala on April 20th. See the dates below.
