PALE RIVERS Unveil Debut Single ‘August 6th’
The emerging Irish quintet has released music video for their first track August 6th.
With so many emerging indie rock bands so easily thrown to the sides these days, Pale Rivers have a powerful electronic influence to set them apart from the rest. The alt-pop band has spent the last year hidden away writing and recording with producer Gavin Glass at his Dublin studio, accompanied by U2 & R.E.M collaborator Kieran Lynch.
Although their music is primarily guitar driven, August 6th echoes beautifully with layered synth and ambient electronic noises, coupled with a headline-slot ready anthemic chorus. Their genre blending approach has already garnered the title of “cunningly anthemic alt-pop at its finest” from The Thin Air.
The accompanying video is a colourful venture, directed by Feel Good Lost, the same direction behind Hozier’s ‘Take Me To Church’ video.
