James Blake has shared atmospheric visuals for his first solo track since 2016’s The Colour in Anything.

Pushing his limits and electronic boundaries, James Blake returns with an intriguing new offering, If The Car Beside You Moves Ahead.

Directed by Alexander Brown, the visuals add a whole new mystique to the track. Kaleidoscopic variations of sounds and images play with our senses as we drive around Los Angeles. With lyrics: “If the car beside you moves ahead / As much as it feels as though you’re dead / You’re not going backwards”, a pensive mood is quickly set.

James Blake recently announced details of a one-off, intimate date at London’s Roundhouse on February 5th, which sold out immediately and surrounds his extensive UK & European dates with Kendrick Lamar.
