SHADED Share Video for New Single ‘Tell Me’
The latest track from SHADED has perfectly encapsulated the breezy spirit of summer.
London based pop-punk trio SHADED have unveiled the video for their new track Tell Me, and it’s anything but shaded.
As the band has recently joined the LA based Common Ground Records, co-founder Brittany Hughes of the record label has expressed her joy in the band’s signing. And we definitely share in the excitement, as we listen to Tell Me. A distant guitar breezes in the introduction, and not soon after, we’re hit with exuberant riffs and vivacious drumming that will definitely leave you yearning for more. Matt East’s soaring vocals and upbeat instrumentals blend together seamlessly to form an anthemic chorus, which is sure to stay in your head for days to come. Matt explains the inspiration behind the track, saying:
‘Tell Me’ comes from a place in my previous relationship where I felt that there was a serious lack in communication. I spent so long over-thinking and being made to feel that I was solely and entirely at fault.
The visuals match the vibrant energy of the track, with its bright turquoise aesthetic. The band rocks out in front of a wall of white and turquoise balloons, whilst Matt sings down a telephone. The pastel theme and the energy of the band performing serve as the perfect visual portrayal of the summer banger, and we can’t wait to see what else the band has in store.
