THE 1975 Unveil New Single ‘It’s Not Living (If It’s Not With You)’
This is so them.
The 1975 have released another catchy pop anthem, It’s Not Living (If It’s Not With You), taken from their third studio album, A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships, set for release on November 30th.
In signature The 1975 style, the new track thrives on the juxtaposition of euphoric sonics with dark lyrical twists. Funky guitars, sparkling synths and sugar-coated, hazy vocals work wonders whilst we dive into more personal themes of heartbreak, drug addiction but finally, recovery. Matty Healy has emphasised in the past that this new record is meant to convey more sincerity, and their new single proves exactly that without losing the upbeat spark we’ve come to identify with the band.
The band’s forthcoming new record A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships will be followed up by the second instalment of the “Music For Cars” era, the album titled Notes On A Conditional Form, which will be released next year.
The 1975 are also set to embark on UK arena tour in 2019.
