Download Festival Announces First Names for 2019
The annual festival staple in Donnington Park has revealed their first list of names, including Def Leppard, Slipknot and Tool.
Download Festival is set to celebrate its 17th edition in Donington Park, after having expanded to France, Spain, Australia and Japan in recent years. It’s only fitting that besides the headliners, they have released the first seventeen bands that will be gracing the stage in June.
Not only will Def Leppard make their only UK appearance in 2019 on the Friday, they will also play their album Hysteria in full. Slipknot will be headlining Saturday with one of their legendary appearances, and titans Tool will be closing the festival on Sunday.
The other artists that will be due to make this edition memorable are amongst others Slash, Whitesnake, Rob Zombie, Trivium, Amon Amarth, Carcass, Delain, Die Antwoord, Me First And The Gimme Gimmes, Opeth, Power Trip, Reel Big Fish, Skindred, Starset, Tesla, The Amity Affliction and Underoath.
Download Festival will take place on 14-16 June 2019 in Donnington Park.
