SORRY Unveil Video for ‘Starstruck’
The newest single and video from Sorry is sure to leave you breathless.
London-based band Sorry have released a seductive new single and video in the form of Starstruck. With catchy repetitive vocals, you’ll find yourself hooked in by the sultry beats and airy vocals.
Opening with an enticing guitar riff, basses sleazily roll on underneath. It’s an eclectic mix of high guitars clashing with the earlier guitar riff and vocals looping around over in the chorus, yet this odd concoction somehow works to create an infectious chorus. Captivating with its flirtatious attitude, it provides a kick with its jagged guitar lines and they’re certainly explorers of a new sonic territory.
The video shows a night out of pleasure, full of half-dressed people and dancing. Don’t mind the pixels censoring certain scenes, they’ve been added intentionally and it works in the band’s favour as it draws upon a layer of mystery, leaving the viewer to wonder what’s been blurred out. You can almost feel yourself developing a hangover from looking at the video, which encapsulates a typical night out making memories you won’t remember the next morning. Directed by the band’s Asha Lorenz and their visual collaborator Flo Webb, Lorenz explains:
Starstruck is is our homemade ode to saucy old pop videos.
