The Strokes Announced for All Points East 2019
The Strokes complete the opening weekend’s headliners of All Points East 2019.
Returning for a stellar second year to Tower Hamlet’s Victoria Park, All Points East has announced the full line up for weekend one.
Following on from the previously announced headliners – The Chemical Brothers (Friday 24th May), Bon Iver (Sunday 2nd June), Christine and The Queens (Sunday 26th May) and Bring Me The Horizon (Friday 31st May) – All Points East has revealed the latest headliner joining the bill is the iconic New York rockers The Strokes, who will perform on Saturday 25th May – the band’s first UK show in four years.
Joining them are The Raconteurs, Interpol, Johnny Marr, Parquet Courts, Jarvis Cocker, Courtney Barnett, Connan Mockasin, Anna Calvi, Bakar, The Nude Party and Viagra Boys.
All Points East has also added further names to the opening weekend’s bill.
Joining The Chemical Brothers on Friday 24th May is another electronic maestro Jon Hopkins as well as Peggy Gou (Presents Gou Talk), Róisín Murphy, David August, Lane 8, Optimo, Petite Noir, Maurice Fulton, Josey Rebelle, Ge-ology and DMX Krew.
On Sunday 26th May, Christine and the Queens will be joined by James Blake, Kamasi Washington, Princess Nokia, Bob Moses, Andrew Weatherall, Yves Tumor (full band), Joy Orbison, Moxie (Presents On Loop), Octo Octa, Galcher Lustwerk and Paquita Gordon.
