JAWS Share New Single ‘Do You Remember’
JAWS are back to prompt us that they still have the goods with their brand new track Do You Remember.
Taken form their long-awaited third album, The Ceiling, set to drop on April 5th, Do You Remember follows the band’s 2018 single and album opener Driving At Night.
The new track sounds more weighty and raw, making it feel like JAWS have stripped everything back and started again. But saying that, the guys have come a long way over the years and they are exploring their sound while still holding onto what makes them such an exciting band.
Front man and guitarist Connor Schofield says of the new album:
Lyrically “The Ceiling” is generally about feeling a bit lost, I think as you grow up everything feels like its moving along a lot quicker; friends, relationships, life can all seem to move at 100 mph. Sometimes we forget that its OK to stand still for a bit sometimes and actually breathe. A lot of these songs are about dealing with that. Musically I think we’ve surprised even ourselves with it, we’ve gone down paths we haven’t taken before and ended up with something we’re really very excited about.
2019 is going to an epic year for JAWS. Releasing The Ceiling on April 5th and with that will come an enormous amount of touring, hopefully, which kicks off in April.
