Hot Milk are back with a powerful new song, Candy Coated Lie$.

Hot Milk have completely channelled the heart of pop-punk in their new single Candy Coated Lie$, by taking an unhappy subject and giving it an upbeat catchy melody. Taking something aggravating and funnelling it into something fun and exciting, the energetic track reflects the band’s personality perfectly.

Speaking of the new track, the band explains:

When you’re sick of the bullshit, when you’re sick of them thinking we’re stupid, when you’re sick of the lies, it’s time to call them the fuck out. Candy Coated Lie$ is our protest song for a world that’s changed. Time to question everything again.

Starting with a skit of a woman selling pills names candy coated lies, the tongue in cheek music video matches the track entirely. Check it out below.
