BOSTON MANOR Release Video for New Single ‘Everything Is Ordinary’

Accompanying the news of their third album, Blackpool’s Boston Manor have released their rowdy and cacophonous lead single, Everything Is Ordinary

Boston Manor 2020

If you’ve listened to Boston Manor before, prepare yourself because Everything Is Ordinary is very different from their previous releases. Vocalist Henry Cox’s distorted vocals layer over a high-frequency, high-energy track creating a mess of sound that will surely get a mosh pit going. It is loud, noisy, and chaotic. Underneath the riotous sounds is a call to arms; to remember how desensitised to the world around us we are and to get angry about it.

On Everything Is Ordinary, Cox says:

We’ve seen literally everything so nothing really strikes us as worrying or scary anymore and, essentially, everything is ordinary to us. I was mostly thinking about the environmental crisis when we wrote this but it does apply to a lot of things that are happening right now.

Everything Is Ordinary serves as a jumping-off point for GLUE, due out May 1st via Pure Noise Records. The single is just a taste of Boston Manor stepping out of their comfort zone and throwing away any preconceived notions to create a “more abrasive and a weirder record.”

Boston Manor have also announced that they will be heading out on a UK headline tour this Spring. Support comes from Trophy Eyes.
