Indie synth-pop breakout star Ella Vos continues to unveil her inspirational personal story in her latest delicately heartfelt single Burning Bridges.

Surviving from a personal trauma that is postpartum depression and a divorce is hard. Getting diagnosed and recovering from cancer is undoubtedly even harder. But the Californian singer and songwriter Ella Vos lets nothing get in her way of pursuing true happiness and clarity in her life and is not afraid to share it with the rest of the world through her inspiring art.

Following her previous single release that also happens to be the title of her highly anticipated upcoming second album Turbulence, Ella Vos holds nothing back with her latest heartfelt drop, Burning Bridges. It’s a catchy airy sonic with a chorus that very effortlessly gets stuck in your head alongside Ella’s heavenly delicate vocals, emotionally narrating the ugly truth. ‘Even the silence pours in like riots / Every day is filled with warnings […] People lying politely / Maybe it’s not surprising / I’m always burning bridges’, she sings.

Speaking of the newest track, Ella explains:

‘Burning Bridges’ is about setting healthy boundaries. I’ve always struggled with boundaries and have a hard time speaking up for what I want or need. I constantly try to make everyone else feel okay, even if I suffer. When I became a mom, had postpartum depression, got diagnosed with lymphoma and went through a divorce, it was clear that if I was going to survive, I needed to make some changes. I learned that taking care of myself first was the best way I could take care of the people around me.
