TWENTY ØNE PILØTS Unveil Video for New Track ‘Level Of Concern’
With the world going mad, we can always count on Twenty One Pilots to bring some sanity into our lives.
Written and recorded amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Level Of Concern marks the duo’s first new material since the release of their critically acclaimed 2018’s album TRENCH. In their signature experimental style, it is the first song Tyler Joseph has ever written on electric guitar, and “it’s simple but hopeful”, as he explains.
Compared with the TRENCH songs, the new track sets a more upbeat tone, thriving on sleek guitar lines and infectious drum beats racing throughout. Encouraging hope, it makes for a timely and dynamic pop bop that you’ll be blasting through the speakers in no time. With heartfelt, humorous visuals and the lyrics “Panic on the brain, world has gone insane”, we couldn’t have asked for a better quarantine anthem to keep us sane during these difficult times.
Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun will donate a portion of the proceeds from Level Of Concern to Crew Nation, a global relief fund for live music crews, which aims to help touring and venue crews affected by the pandemic.
