Sly Boy has unleashed a brand new track that carries a strong emotive quality we don’t hear everyday.

Liam Smith is the man behind the sound of Sly Boy, a project which only began back in 2018. Following the release of his debut LP, Is This What You Wanted To See, last year, he has started to work on Jibō Complex, the new collection of his work.

Sly Boy’s latest offering follows in the footsteps of his previous song, Deader, a collaboration with Maggie Miles. On Baking Soda, the Nashville artist pushes the emo pop genre by featuring some saxophone in the track, adding an almost nostalgic sense to it. Sly Boy’s vocals are the perfect balance of raw and pensive that delivers the lyrics fluently. It is a self-reflective track with more of a dark undertone which he creates well and will appeal to his forever growing fan base.
