Indie-soul emerging artist Laura David takes the next big step in her music journey as she releases  heartwarming new track Waste My Time.

Following a preview of her musical mastermind earlier this year with her debut single Better, the Toronto  sweetheart spreads her wings and expands her back catalogue with a heartwarming ode to her special someone. Inspired and written during lockdown, Waste My Time is a heartfelt soundtrack with a heavenly acoustic guitar-driven sonic featuring ethereal background soundscapes that add even more to the nostalgic tone of the track. Laura David, whose calming vocals are just the cherry on top, explains:

I just got into a new relationship but since I wasn’t allowed to see my girlfriend, all I could do was think about the time we would spend together when it was all over.

The self made VHS-style accompanying video slides perfectly with the track’s tender lyrics as it shares the couple’s special moments in the daily life and makes us wish we could all go back to being 18, stress-free and full of young love to give.
