Someone Else is the perfect new summer anthem from More In Luv.

Merseyside-based quartet More In Luv are paying homage to their already thriving local scene by chucking themselves in at the deep end with their summery, indie sound. 2020 saw the release of their debut single, and the Local Celebrities EP, and the band managed to build up a listening amongst all the chaos ensued. Having already gathered an insight into what the band can do, More In Luv are more than set up for a strong 2021.

The first piece in this year’s repertoire is Someone Else, the perfect anthem for all your summer playlists. The band are heavily influenced by indie-pop legends The 1975, and this is showcased in the single. Laden with guitar riffs seen in the likes of I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It, More In Luv have sprinkled glittery and serotonin-inducing beats over lyrics that are somewhat more sombre.

Without a doubt, Someone Else is going to be stuck in your head, and you’ll be dancing before you know it. More In Luv are definitely a band to keep on the radar; if this song is anything to go off, a strong year is in store.
