PHOBIA QUARTET Share Energetic New Single ‘Windmill’
Shyness whilst falling in love is explored in Windmill, the latest single from phobia quartet.
Fort Lauderdale-based phobia quartet are, ironically, a trio, made up of Jason Ferra, Alex White, and Adam Hood. Debuting in 2019 with their Disappear Again EP, phobia quartet introduced themselves with an upbeat, surf-pop/dream-pop sound, and have paid true to that in each of their releases. The band have just released their latest single, Windmill.
Windmill is a pretty dream-pop anthem that will, without a doubt, slot nicely into your summer playlists. The single holds a different energy to that of their previous releases but is still recognisable as classic phobia quartet. Written about being a shrinking violet when a new relationship begins to blossom, the trio have combined energetic vocals with floaty melodies to add a brightness to the melancholic shyness that the lyrics portray. Windmill has more than given phobia quartet a good start to 2021, and sets the bar for future releases.
