PALCO Shares New Track ‘Heart Drop’ feat. AAA+
A collective anxiety in times of challenge is explored by Palco and David Turley of AAA+, in latest single Heart Drop.
LA-based Palco is a musical temptress, using her emotional lyrics and sultry vocals to reel people in, getting them to listen to what she has to say. Only debuting last year, she has already made one hell of an impression on the world; becoming known both within her little bubble, and internationally. Her latest single is called Heart Drop, which features vocals and instrumentals from AAA+.
Heart Drop is a song that represents the collective fear of the world during the tough times for America during the pandemic – both politically and emotionally. It talks about “life on mars,” and the places our imagination takes us when there’s nothing to do but daydream. Having both a male and female perspective gives the already emotional track a romantic spin, and the contrasting vocals work in perfect harmony. Dance-pop-esque beats are joined with softer piano chords, and everything intertwines together to create a gorgeous indie-pop duet.
On the single, Palco shares:
David Turley of AAA+ and I wrote this during quarantine when America’s political sphere was so challenged and heavy. The collective anxiety the world was experiencing combined with the isolation of the pandemic inspired this song as a sort of alien’s eye view of it all.
