SARAH & THE SUNDAYS Release Authentic Single ‘Vices’

Describing themselves as ‘five college dropouts’ together in one ensemble, this irresistible coming-of-age anthem makes you grateful this band pursued music.

Sarah and the Sundays

Hailing from Austin, Texas, Sarah and the Sundays are a five-piece indie rock band who are renowned for their undeniable ability to bring the party mood with their infectious guitar strums and drumbeats. Gaining support from many, from rock band Smash Mouth to radio station SiriusXM’s Alt Nation, Sarah and the Sundays have increased their fanbase purely through their memorable hooks and facetious lyrics. Released earlier this year, their revered EP Half Way Home was written prior to the world’s cessation, when the pandemic was in its early stages. With four relatable tracks, the EP embodies the mundanity of quarantining from a deadly illness, as well as depicting the innate desire to give up bad habits. Following the release of Half Way Home, the Texas rockers are back with their exhilarating latest single Vices.

Preceding their forthcoming record The Living End, Vices embodies the band’s evolution and growth since their EP dropped. Marrying the sublime bassline and attention-grabbing percussion with earnestly transparent lyricism such as “I’ve been in crisis since the crib, I’ve been painfully impulsive,” Vices is an exquisite portrayal of growing up, navigating relationships and quitting regrettable tendencies.

Sarah and the Sundays describe Vices as “the result of our first ever visit to a studio. It’s a song about loss, growth, and change overall. We hope listeners relate to the universal feeling of life’s evolution and find meaning in the feelings we expressed about such change.”

With electrifying live shows and touring in progress, Sarah and the Sundays are reigniting the explosive parties we have been yearning for, and you are, of course, invited.
