NICK MULVEY Returns with New Single ‘Unconditional’

Announces intimate UK tour dates in June.

It’s been three years since his outstanding Mercury Prize nominated debut album, First Mind, so it’s about time for Nick Mulvey to grace us with some new music.

Unconditional is the first single taken from Mulvey‘s soon to be announced sophomore album, and it enchants just as delicately as all of his previous musical endeavours. The strumming guitar patterns we fell for in the first place strike again, wrapped around rhythmic aesthetics he balances with certain precision so effortlessly. The track veers around elegant simplicity, grasping more in depth lyrical content as Mulvey‘s warm vocals unravel another passionate story. “How could I resist?” he sings, and how could we?

Directed by Bjork collaborator Bastian Glaessner, the visual accompaniment follows a young couple as they experience ups and downs of their tempestuous affection. Watch the video below.

To coincide with the new release Mulvey announces a trio of new live shows for June as intimate warm-up dates for his forthcoming, soon to be announced, Summer live schedule. Tickets go on general sale at 9 am on Friday May 19th.
