Musician’s self-titled debut album to be released in June.

Smidley, a new project from Foxing singer Conor Murphy, release the third single, Dead Retrievers, taken from their self-titled debut album, out in June.

Directed by Nicole Ruggiero, the video with its playful and experimental approach suits the track perfectly, being a signature aesthetic for the album art as well. The clip creates a strong artistic thread to the standard and cohesiveness of the music.

Smidley due out June 2nd via Triple Crown Records.

Murphy says of the new record:

It was the greatest time I’ve ever had making, recording or playing music in my life. I tried to eliminate any expectations for this record and focused entirely on having a good time with it.

Smidley will hit the road around the US in May and June to share his new music we are yet to hear.
