New York-based singer-songwriter and producer, Lauv, returns with intriguing new track, I Like Me Better.

Following the success of his debut EP, Lost In The Light, including the outstanding single The Other, which has now gained over 75 million streams on Spotify, San Francisco-born Ari Leff aka Lauv delivers new track I Like Me Better.

I Like Me Better marks a tempo shift for the young artist. Leaving behind the emotive sublimity of his previous mellow melodies, the new song shows an elegant progression of Lauv‘s songwriting and producing skills. The upbeat essence of the tune shines with its gleaming beats and polished rhythmic structure, accompanied by the swaying vocal layers. Looks like Lauv has just served a perfect summery track that clearly sets a new path for his personal musical development.

Lauv says:

Before I started making music as Lauv, I’d lost that sense of who I really was for a while. It seems like a lot of people lose touch with that forever, and end up living a life that’s not really true to who they are. By being so honest in my songs, I want to encourage people to be okay with who they are and what they feel. More than anything else, that’s what drives me to create music in a massive way.
