Alt-J’s forthcoming Relaxer is right around the corner, and the group offers the rushing Adeline as we’re waiting for the full package.

Following 3WW and In Cold Blood, Adeline is the third single to be released from the anticipated record, Relaxer.

The tune builds around the mysterious nature that Alt-J capture so well. The melody constantly evolves into a breath-taking crescendo. Reeking of musical solitude, there is an all-consuming sense of melancholy in the tune. The diverse musical elements draw on Alt-J’s dynamic nature whilst still finding space for innovative new components. It’s an entrancing cut, all-encompassing and haunting in it’s nature, and yet so Alt-J.

Relaxer is due June 2nd via Infectious Music.
