THE CRIBS Return with New Single ‘In Your Palace’

Wakefield’s trio shares first new music since their 2015’s album For All My Sisters.

Having just rounded off their special tour celebrating the 10th anniversary of their third album Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever, The Cribs now return bigger and heavier.

Following the limited run of one-sided 7″ Year Of Hate, that was only available from selected record stores across the globe, The Cribs now unveil a brand new single. Already sounding like a The Cribs classic, In Your Palace will sweep you off your feet with its heavy riffs and rawness that is a pure embodiment of the band’s soundscape. Drawing on the pop sensibility, The Cribs masterfully juxtapose infectious and distorted, delivering yet another brilliant tune. I don’t know about you, but I can already hear that chorus being sung by many souls at their boisterous live shows.

Ryan Jarman explains:

It’s riffier and raunchier and dirtier. When we start writing we’ll often start there and then all the pop influences start taking over and we go down that route. With this we tried to make sure we stay in that kind of paradigm. I’d call it bleak riff pop.

In Your Palace was produced by Steve Albini and recorded at Electric Audio, Chicago. Check it out!
