SLØTFACE Unleash New Single ‘Pitted’

The Norwegian quartet Sløtface, are soon due to release their awaited debut, Try Not To Freak Out, and with lead single Pitted out of the bag, the anticipation is rocking sky high.

With savvy guitar twists, a palpable beat and drizzled with pop cultural references, Pitted is a melting pot of all you want from Sløtface.

Sticking to their eminent style of up-beat, energetic, in-your-face attitude, the song isn’t exactly a revelation, yet it works out to be the perfect afternoon anthem, shaking up your day just enough for an extra twirl.

As the band states themselves:

‘Pitted’ is our own little pep talk for getting out of the house when you would really prefer to stay in and chill on the couch. No, not every night out is killer, but sometimes those nights make the best stories and that song is full of good stories from bad nights out. ‘Pitted’ is also the first song we’ve ever done with horns, so we’re SUPER STOKED to release it. The trumpet is played by Norwegian jazz musician Simen Kiil Halvorsen.

Sløtface debut Try Not To Freak Out is out September 15th via Propeller Recordings.
