King Krule releases another single of his forthcoming album The Ooz, and it’s an absolute banger.

With gritty surrealism, we delve into the abstracts of King Krule’s entity. The South-East London based singer stated that this album will see “wrenching themes of self-annihilation and fraying relationships… inextricably linked in Marshall’s eyes”, something that truly surfaces in his most recent cut.

The aggressive bite of his vocals, and the staccato of the soundscape comes together as a slightly absurd depiction of loneliness at it’s most frustrating. The diverse influx of influences gives King Krule an edge, entirely beside what is considered commercially acceptable, and it is in that weirdness in which his true genius really lies.

The Ooz is due to be released on XL Recordings October 13th.
