Minneapolis, Minn. trio DENNY released their second, long-awaited single Girls Like You.

Following their 2016’s single Bloom, Girls Like You is an explosive tune that builds off of the synth beats and echoing percussion the band is known for. Beginning with a lonely vocal track, the song soon evolves into a triumphant layered sound. The explosive guitar chords paired with heavily-stylized backing vocals catapult the listener into the chorus.

The lyrics involve lead singer Alexander Rollins reminiscing on an unforgettable night, detailing an experience with a mysterious woman. The song ends with a slow fade, bringing a satisfying and shadowy end to the tune.
