After they took their track Hoops to platinum and winning the converted Triple J’s Hottest 100 #1, The Rubens surely must have felt the pressure to back that up. The guys have been away for a bit, touring and writing their third album set to be released in 2018 and this is the fruit of their labour.

Executing their faultless formula; soothing and impressive vocals, a fusion of genres and reckless yet refine guitars, the guys can’t do wrong. 2018 world domination for The Rubens? Keep your ears and eyes peeled.

Vocalist Elliott Margin says:

The song itself kind of came from nowhere, just sitting at the piano and playing whatever came out. As the song developed, the lyrics slowly came and spelled out a story and the rest came from there. The chorus was an easy flowing one, which is rare.
