PAUL KELLY to Host ‘Gravy Day’ in December
Ushering in Christmas at Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Dec 16th with special guests Gang Of Youths, Meg Mac & Gretta Ray.

Australian summers are a little different from the rest of the world. It’s hot scorching days, cricket in the backyard, pavlovas and Paul Kelly. He is the man behind the unique Australian Christmas Carol, ‘How To Make Gravy’. To make things even more festive and into the spirit of Christmas he has invited some friends for a mini festival of sorts, titled ‘Gravy Day’. The line up includes Gang Of Youths, Meg Mac and Gretta Ray and will take place at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl on 16th December.
Paul Kelly says:
Gravy’s been around a long, long time. Maybe humans came up with it even before they came up with beer and wine. I don’t know. But I do know Raymond Carver wrote a poem about it. And I like to make it. And it’s different all over the world. So, we’d like to usher in Christmas and all things grave and gravilicious with a rich, musical stew. Come on board the gravy train with us and our friends this December 16th at The Myer Music Bowl.
