Irish indie outfit The Academic have announced debut album Tales From The Backseat, out in January.

The Academic have gifted us with a new track and some more details of their debut album Tales From The Backseat set to be released on January the 12th.

Permanent Vacation delivers their signature infectious riffs and catchy lyrics. A coming of age tale of leaving those teen years behind and launching into the adult life.

The Academic nail the indie-pop genre without a doubt yet adapting their unique style. After being on the road with the likes of Noel Gallagher, Catfish And The Bottlemen and The Strokes they are off next month around the UK and Europe for some shows of their own. But be quick, they are sure to sell out as the Dublin show is already full.
