THE JAPANESE HOUSE Announces Debut Album ‘Good At Falling’
A second track has been lifted from the album in the form of Follow My Girl.

Amber Bain aka The Japanese House has released the details about her highly-anticipated debut album. Titled Good At Falling after a friend showed her a video game where a square was experiencing an existential crisis, it struck a chord within the feelings brewing within her at the time.
Exploring the meaning of ‘falling’ in particular, Amber mentions:
Falling can mean so much: falling in love with someone, or falling flat on your face, feeling like your life is being destroyed, falling out of love with someone. I always find myself doing that, and being in those things. All the songs are about some sort of fall or failure or vulnerability.
Slated for release on March 1st 2019, a second taste of the album is given in the form of new single Follow My Girl.
With vibrant electronics and an airy voice that floats on top, you’ll be lured in from the first beat and it showcases a poppier side to the artist. Detailing the feelings that accompany a search for a sense of direction, it’s a euphoric rush that will leave you exhilarated. Explaining the track, Amber says:
Follow My Girl is about sticking something out, and going with it, until something changes. I’m really bad at making decisions, so that’s what I tend to do.
