Not only do they share an unreleased B-side track, but Seaway also give us the video for it. It seems like the band do enjoy spoiling their fans.

Seaway certainly have sent the impression that Christmas has come early this year as they release B-side track Blur and the accompanying video.

Full of soaring vocal hooks, captivating guitars and dynamic pummelling drums, it distils all the best qualities of pop-punk into one track. The video sees footage from their European tour, capturing the band’s live energy as well as the more mundane off-stage times.

Speaking on the track, guitarist Andrew Eichinger says:

We wrote and recorded Blur at the same time we wrote and recorded Vacation, but when it came time to put everything together we just felt like it didn’t fit with the rest of the songs. However, this track freaking rocks…. so it only made sense to save it for a later release.

The song is basically just about dealing with the crazy ride of being away from home all the time and the toll that takes on you mentally. We love what we do and we know how lucky we are, but sometimes it’s easy to question everything and that’s what this is all about.

Seaway’s surprise new B-side from their Vacation album session will be included on an upcoming compilation album that’s due out in 2019.
