From start to finish, it is impossible to feel negative while listening to One Of Them Girls by Sweden’s Efraim Leo. This good vibes, powerhouse pop anthem has all the makings of a massive summer hit – bouncy, bubbly chorus; an earworm hook; and a stunning vocal performance. The song begins on a high note with the induction of the titular line “(’cause you’re) one of them girls.” Every time Leo hits this line in the first verse with stark, uninhibited clarity, you can’t help but think “that was perfect.” You don’t think it can get any better, but then he does it again and it never stops being perfect. Throughout the song, we’re treated to beautifully layered synth work that explodes with energy, particularly during the chorus. One Of Them Girls is a dazzling pop song that should shoot the young Swede into superstardom.
