Glass Ocean return with a haunting taster of what their new album is all about. 

Glass Ocean‘s latest progressive showpiece, Voyage, debuts a haunting CGI music video for an equally poignant song. Duelling on the individual’s neverending and restless search for the proverbial treasure, the song puts it in perspective with the sacrifices made and the aftermath that follows one’s hungry chase. However tempting the ‘Emerald Isle’, the representation of the promised land may be, the song urges the seeker to take off the blindfolds and listen to their loved ones’ advice before, instead of greedily following an ideal which will leave nothing but devastation behind. With calming, almost mourning vocals and spine chilling instrumental, Voyage captivates and instills a sense of thought-provoking sadness and awakening melancholy, allowing its message to pierce straight into the heart of the listener.

For selfish and foolish reasons we can lead ourselves down paths with serious consequences. Under the guise of a virtuous pursuit or belief, we try defy nature herself to bend the rules of reality to our ideology. The repercussion for doing so can result in something catastrophic or traumatic. Something you may never come back from. Something you could of avoided if you had only listened to a voice on the wind that cared deeply about your wellbeing. Sacrifice yourself and your view of the world, if it means you will lead a better life

Voyage is taken from the band’s upcoming debut album, The Remnants Of Losing Yourself In Someone Else, set for release on August 21st via Wildthing Records.
