CHARGE THE ATLANTIC Release Wild New Single ‘Crush’

If Prince and The 1975 had a baby, Crush would be the beautifully cheeky and outrageously fun result.

Charge The Atlantic 2020

Resisting the groovy moves that come with listening to Charge The Atlantic’s newest track, Crush, is next to impossible. Dangerously cool falsetto laces effortlessly with the screechy, sliding guitar notes and bullfrog bass that give Crush a unique, funky edge reminiscent of pop-rock legends of the 80s and 90s. The gnarly solo from the band’s guitarist, Alex Curnow, is equally as impressive and well-placed. Don’t let the suavity or gusto of the music distract you from what this song is really about: face-sitting oral sex. The veil over that particular metaphor is gauzy at best with the chorus ringing out: “I want you to be topside of me, touch me, crush me.” The playful but ravenous lyrics make sexy, symbiotic harmony with the rest of the song, marking Crush as a 2020 standout.

Tune in and turn up. You won’t be disappointed.
