LANY unveil new music video for their latest single yea, babe, no way.

Nashville-via-LA-via-NY trio has shared new music video for their recent enticing offering yea, babe, no way taken from their kinda EP, released earlier in June this year.

Directed by James Lees and filmed on a super high definition camera, a 16 millimeter film camera, and an iPhone, the clip is a love letter to much beloved California.

The layering of these three mediums makes the quintessence of LANY‘s dreamy alt-pop. The outstanding visuals stunningly emphasize the eternal summer constantly hailing from their music.

Paul Klein, the frontman of the band, explains:

we shot it at the end of june over the span of 2 days, and the goal was to capture the essence and vibe of california and – more specifically – the westside: venice, the palisades, topanga, and malibu. we’ve been living out here for the last 8 months working on music, and i think it’s pretty clear (and obvious) that our surroundings have directly influenced our sound.

LANY are currently prepping to embark on an European and a following US tour, including a few stops in the UK on the way.
