OF MICE & MEN New Song Review // “Real”
OF MICE & MEN share new track Real.
Real is the second single to be taken from the band’s upcoming album Cold World.
Having been presented with perhaps a slightly more balanced and accessible tone, comparing to their first track Pain, the new cut sounds utterly massive and substantial. The subject of the song certainly does.
Even with all the advances in technology, it’s all too easy to feel lost in 2016 – explains Aaron Pauley, the bassist/vocalist. It’s easy to forget who you are. “Real” is our response to that; our call to arms. If we take the time to remind ourselves what makes us real, no one can replace that.
OF MICE & MEN‘s fourth studio album was produced by David Bendeth, who they worked with on 2014’s Restoring Force.
Cold World is due for release on September 9th via Rise Records.
The five-piece will also return to the UK with a headline tour. Listen to the song below!
