EVERYWHERE New Song Review // “Some Other Dude”

EVERYWHERE share new song Some Other Dude.

Press-shot-1

UK-via-Sweden quartet released the second single, Some Other Dude, to be taken from their upcoming Sophomore EP.

Following the lead track Shades At Night, the new cut successfully serves another dose of highly energetic hooks with a funky twist. The groovy and upbeat rhythms take the full control and before she’s dancing with some other dude you’re already in the middle of the dance floor.

Having created the infectious and hard-to-get-out-of-your-head chorus the band delivers well-crafted catchy pop vibes that still have some time to find a cosy place on your summer playlist.

It’s a funky little song about the importance of seizing an opportunity before it goes out the window – explains Max Berga, the frontman of the band.

Everywhere are certainly not unknown to the music scene. Since the phenomenal debut single Eddie (2013), their music has hit a million streams bar on the services such as YouTube, Soundcloud and Spotify. What’s more, following the release of the track, the band made an appearance at the NME Awards in the UK the same year sharing the stage with Django Django and Palma Violets. After that, they joined Kaiser Chiefs on tour and played a headlining show at London’s Notting Hill Arts Club. All that happened about the time they dropped their debut American Grandeur EP (Nov 2013). Surely, not a bad start.

Sophomore EP is due for release in September this year. It was recorded in London, Los Angeles and Stockholm with a help from a few producers, including Mark Needham (The 1975, The Killers).

The four-piece will also play on August 31st at The Good Ship in London.
