HÅN & GIUNGLA Collaborate for Driving New Single ‘CTR’
Creating a pressing sense of urgency that you will not be able to ignore, CTR is the collaborative result of two exciting newcomers to keep an eye on.

Through Zoom calls, endless email exchanges, and never ending file sharing, we’ve all had to find new ways to collaborate and cope in light of the inability to travel extensively this year. For HÅN and Giungla, the distance between Italy and the United Kingdom has not formed a barrier for their creative collaboration and their joint new single CTR shows that the forces of music are too powerful to be halted. With a thrilling drive and an ever-present urgency, it’s a commanding track that will grip your attention from start to finish.
Sharing more about the forming and making of the track, the two artists share:
The track was born last summer at Giungla’s place in Milan when we sat down for a writing session together. Visually videogame characters like Crash and Sonic came to mind and we thought that the idea of a race was perfect for the melody. We imagined a sort of silly competition against frenzy, anxiety, tiredness, what other people think about you, and at the same time the need to keep going and challenge yourself. We finished it remotely between Milan and London (where HÅN lives) during this lockdown and it’s also a reflection on what it feels like to be a musician in a year when you can’t really tour. We felt that the only thing that makes sense now it’s collaborating and sharing. We’re in this race together.
