OPUS ORANGE Releases Reimagined ‘Miles From Nowhere (San Clemente)’
Following the release of the eponymous album, Opus Orange showcases Miles From Nowhere, but this time from San Clemente.

LA-based Paul Bessenbacher is a musician that works under the alias of Opus Orange, and he’s been producing gorgeous tracks for the last ten years. Earlier this year, PB released the album Miles From Nowhere; whilst sat staring out at San Clemente, he took his laptop and his USB mic, and put together Miles From Nowhere (San Clemente): a reimagined album, featuring the head track, Miles From Nowhere.
With Carlen Walth on pedal steel and Katie Hampton on backing vocals, the trio have created a floaty, almost ethereal indie-pop song, which differs greatly from the much more upbeat original. This new version provides an “I want to run away and live in the woods” vibe, which is fitting with the track’s exploration of the disorientation you feel after you arrive in the wrong destination.
