Canterbury’s outfit lotusbliss delve into the duality of life on their atmospheric indie-rock EP Bittersweet.

Comprising of brothers Josh, Seth and Adam, lotusbliss craft an exciting blend of indie-pop with a dash of rock urgency. Drenched in nostalgia, their latest EP Bittersweet touches upon the duality of the human existence and the feeling of uncertainty that accompanies us in life, as the band says, “anger, nostalgia and forgiveness sit together side by side.”

Pairing ambient soundscapes with indie-rock instrumentals, the band creates an expansive sound that oozes with raw intensity and lyrical depth. Underpinned with the sulky beat, Cedar is a carefully-paced track that flows with the guitar reverb and pressing percussive trails, whilst Thunder In The Room gracefully bursts into indie-rock glory as swelling melodies and emotive vocal harmonies coalesce into a cinematic listening experience.
