MEET ME @ THE ALTAR Share New Single ‘Brighter Days (Are Before Us)’

Fuelled by an optimism that the bad days get better is Meet Me @ The Altar’s latest track, Brighter Days (Are Before Us).

Meet Me @ The Altar

Pop-punk trio Meet Me @ The Altar were welcomed into the scene in 2018, but it’s only in the last year that their talent has really begun to shine, and they’ve gained the recognition they really deserve. Hit Like A Girl and Feel A Thing are notable releases that display their energetic pop-punk sound.

Preceding their forthcoming EP, the band have just released their latest single, Brighter Days (Are Before Us), and its title does exactly what it says on the tin: soft-rock instrumentals and powerful vocals remind listeners that the bad days get better. It’s a guitar-heavy track, but the background drum beats add an enjoyable, quick-paced rhythm to the single; its speed reiterates the optimistic attitude of the track. The repetition of mantra ‘brighter days are before us,’ combined with the enjoyable female vocal create a gorgeous, yet bad-ass track: what more can you want?

On the single, MMATA’s vocalist Edith briefly explained:

It’s about feeling sad, but realising there are better days ahead.
