WORLD’S FIRST CINEMA Share New Track ‘Perfect Hell’

Listeners are transported to World’s First Cinema’s Perfect Hell in their new dark pop single.

World's First Cinema 2021

Fil Thorpe and John Sinclair are the two faces behind one of LA’s (and the world’s) favourite dark pop duos, World’s First Cinema. Formed in Los Angeles in 2019, the two came together when Thorpe broke from pop punk icons Neck Deep, and when Sinclair – also known as Saint Claire – moved away from the solo life. Coming from such different walks of life, their combined knowledge of what good music sounds like (and the fan bases) means they make a mighty pair. World’s First Cinema have released an array of tracks in the last few years, but have just shared Perfect Hell with the world.

Perfect Hell is… pretty damn perfect. It’s sonic, atmospheric, bold – and it contains a lot of pretty little guitar riffs. It’s new, for them, but new is good – World’s First Cinema want to be something dynamic and unique, so there’s always an element of surprise. Beating instrumentals, talented layering of harmonies, it’s echoey and listeners really are transported to another world. This one will definitely be a crowd pleaser.

On the track, the boys said:

Creating ‘Perfect Hell’ was an opportunity for us to explore a more rock focused approach to our sound whilst aiming to keep our cinematic production elements still prevalent.
