BLAENAVON Unveil Brand New Album Cut ‘Alice Come Home’

The band’s debut album is set for release in April.

The Hampshire trio’s long awaited debut, That’s Your Lot, is right around the corner. Fuelling the anticipation further, Blaenavon unveil enchanting new track Alice Come Home.

Alice Come Home is a translucent serenade filled with bombastic guitar hammering and exaggerated percussion, counterpointed with soaring sense of simplicity. The tune enraptures the motion of confusion and heartache as much through its diverse and terrain-ridden soundscape, as through the floating lyricism and Ben Gregory’s fluid vocals. Evoking that special sense of melancholy and hopefulness all at once, Alice Come Home enhances the true distinction of the trio.

This is definitely another one to add to Blaenavon’s substantial list of bangers, and if you weren’t excited for That’s Your Lot already, you surely should feel the spark now.

The song is also accompanied by an analogue-esque live video, shot during the band’s first trip to New York City in Winter, 2016.

Frontman, Ben Gregory tells about the album that:

‘That’s Your Lot’ is 5 years of our lives condensed into 59 minutes of yours. Youth, capriciousness, duality, duplicity, love, bitterness, fate. Songs from the human core: some malleable, long considered – others pure, direct, cruelly honest. An album to bathe in and appreciate the inevitable end.

That’s Your Lot is out Friday the 7th of April, just in time for their tour final at London’s Heaven.
