VANCOUVER SLEEP CLINIC Announce Debut Album ‘Revival’

The Australian collective releases new single Someone To Stay.

The Aussie band Vancouver Sleep Clinic has announced details on their forthcoming debut album, Revival, out this Spring.

Produced by Al Shux (Jay Z, Alicia Keys, Lana Del Rey) Revival has come into being over a two year period when Tim Bettinson, the leading force behind VSC, left his homeland and travelled to Los Angeles to work on new record.

Bettinson says:

When I started envisioning the album, I knew I wanted it to be very progressive and draw from different genres. I come from folk and instrumental music, and what I wanted was something more like hip-hop and R&B. So when I brought my demos to Al, he really understood what I wanted to do. I wanted to make big statements, and he helped make that possible.

Alongside the news on Revival the band has shared captivating visuals for the new single Someone To StayFollowing previous tracks Lung and Killing Me To Love You, the third cut is another heavenly electronic masterpiece. With tender vocals and a versatile structure, the song will reach your soul as the floating melodies uncover its dreamy nature.

Directed by Georgia Hudson (Ellie Goulding, Glass Animals, MØ) and shot in New York, the video captures the essence of the song, traps it in a hazy bubble just as we’re being trapped with the singer in that room, only with no desire of getting out.

VSC new album Revival is set for release on April 7th via Columbia Records.
