THRICE Unveil Music Video for ‘Hurricane’
The band to release an exclusive two-track 7″ with a brand new track, Sea Change, for the upcoming Record Store Day.
Thrice unveil new video for the opening track of their most recent ninth studio album, To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere, released last year.
Hurricane is the absolute stunner of a tune with its profound lyricism and melodic fragility. The narrative of the clip captures and upholds, unfolding a passionate love story. As we’re being drawn into the literal hurricane of the events the gritty guitars pierce right through and broad vocals carry clearly until we hear “It’s gonna rain, it’s gonna rain, till the levee breaks / A tidal wave of fear and pain carries us away”.
Thrice excel in every endeavour and having visuals just as captivating as the track itself is simply a pleasing accompaniment.
Thrice have also announced they’ll be releasing an exclusive two-track 7″ with a brand new track entitled Sea Change, as well as a TBEITBN B-side and live version of Black Honey for the Record Store Day. The release is limited to 2,500 copies so don’t wait around too long.
It looks like the band will be super busy this summer season as they’re set to join Rise Against and Deftones on their North America tour. But before that happens you can catch them this month at the following dates.
April
27 – London, KOKO
28 – Nottingham, Rock City
