OSCAR’s New Music Video // “Sometimes”
Oscar Scheller shares new music video for the song Sometimes.
Guitar-driven Sometimes is a leading track taken from the upcoming debut LP Cut and Paste which will be out later this year.
The indie-pop London based rocker Oscar dropped new music video for the song Sometimes and you can watch it below. For this version (the first one premiered in 2014) the singer-songwriter decided to ditch homeland and moved overseas. Travelling across the western lands of the US Oscar meets a varied bunch including some of the finest clubs and organizations this great nation has to offer. Starting at Randy’s Donuts with The Lawn Bowling Club and The Riverside Live Steamers we find ourselves surrounded by dinosaurs and some gymnastic team on horses just to meet Cloudy Knights Vape Team. But obviously, there’s more. Some cheerleaders, The Cow Town Singles Squaredance Club, some lads on bikes, a lot of roller skates and The Dazzlers. Oh and just look at all the outfits! Brilliant stuff.
The clip was directed by Bryan Schlam who had to say that:
Shooting “Sometimes” was like taking a road trip. I wanted portraiture of the most obscure groups and clubs I could find to drive the video… And we literally had to drive for around three days to shoot everyone (at times for hours!). We ended up with a perfect mix of kitsch and beauty. Turns out Oscar is an amazing performer, holding his own in every set up, including competitive vapers immersing him in smoke rings, and square dancers improvising choreography.
